Linda Gilroy MP campaigns for better housing in Drake
John Smith, Labour's candidate in Drake, and Linda Gilroy MP were today out with Plymouth Labour's campaign team in Drake highlighting plans to improve the quality of housing in the area with new legistlation planned by the Government. Yesterday, John Healey MP, the Housing Minister announced plans to improve licensing for landlords of HMOs (a catagory of housing where there is multiple occupation - especially popular for student accomodation). The new plan will help improve the safety and quality of housing and will be a major boost for housing in Drake.
